Remington Elliot Derringer ("Pepperbox") .22 rimfire, mfg 1863 to the 1870s

Remington Elliot Derringer, "Pepperbox", .22 rimfire.  Manufactured 1863 to the 1870s.  Five shot fixed barrel with a rotating firing pin.  3 inch fluted barrel marked MANUFACTURED BY E. REMINGTON AND SON, ILION, N.Y.. ELLIOT'S PATENT, MAY 29, 1860, OCTOBER 1, 1861.  Nickel finish with walnut grips.  Frame has 75 percent, barrel 40 to 50 percent.  Doesn't show a lot use.  No corrosion.  Screw on right side of barrel replaced by a brass rivet.  Works fine.  Firing pin revolves.
